As we record this on a Wednesday afternoon, one day before the wolves began their post-all-star

break portion of the season. Brit, over the break, you took this time to do actually one of my

favorite things you do as a writer and that's stopping and digging

into one of the wolves assistant coaches which I guess maybe doesn't sound like that sexy of a

thing right like on the surface but I think back to your David Vantapult feature you wrote a couple

years ago I mean sometimes these are the most prolific people

that we have very little information about.

And you uncovered some information on Micah Norrie,

Chris Finch's David Vantepoole, his lead man on the Wolf's Bench

this season. When you, when you write these stories, what goes

into it? Why is it an important story to you? Because I'm, I know it's a topic you chose by choice.

Right. So I'd assume there's some level of heavy personal intrigue there. What goes into it?

Well, especially for Minpost, I wanted to keep it regular at once a week, even with the break.

And I thought, what could be kind of a timeless thing that I could hit people with who haven't seen the wolves for six days.

And then I thought, well, a personality profile would be good. And like most Wolves fans, I think I was

charmed by Noray's halftime reports, you know, coming out of the locker room.

Some of it is a quick synopsis of what happened in the first half and what they plan to do maybe in the second half.

But it's usually really benign and it's kind of milk toast.

They don't usually want to reveal too much or even if they do want to reveal too much,

a lot of these coaches just speak in, you know, Argett, you know, like just, they, they don't
