here with me today who just wrote a column on the impact of Anthony Edwards, thus far this

of this season. Check that out over at minpost.com. I think it's kind of perfect timing for that

column because this evening, wolves, jazz, it seems they are

going to play their first game without, uh, Anthony Edwards this season, who he's listed as

doubtful after crashing the floor there, right hip pointer. Uh, you started your column kind of running

through the numbers of how much better this Wolves team has been with ants on the floor

versus ants off the floor, huge gap, obviously.

But there's kind of like, there's two factors, right, that impact the size of one of those gaps.

It's how well a team plays with a player on the floor, what they're doing then.

And that other side of like, a gap doesn't need to be huge and a player could still be playing really well, right?

Right.

There's a big deal here.

Like Tatum, for example, has, I think it's like over 11 points better.

Okay.

In other words, his net rating is over 11, 118, I think, plus 118.

But when he's off the court, the Celtics are plus 3.1.

So if you take the net on off, he's really eight points better for his team when he plays versus when he sits.

Some of that is depth, of course.

Some of that is cohesion, whatever.

But Ant is significant both ways.
