Well, it's been a long time coming but after 945 days and the sprinkle of that delightful

homeland British weather, Lewis Hamilton returned to the winner's circle to take the British Grand Prix and with

it another moment in history as well.

The first driver to win nine times at the same Grand Prix event.

Fantastic for him.

A late charge for Maxwell Snapping on the hard tires, he overcame Lando Norris to round out

the podium, second and third for those.

And what was a very,

very exciting race and plenty of other narratives along the way for us to discuss after what

was a brilliant return to Silverstone. Well, after that, then, here is how the results look.

Well, it was Lewis Hamilton, as we say, that one is 104th Grand Prix, Started second and finished first, a fantastic result for him.

Max for Snap and coming home in second for the Red Bull. Lando Norris in third, disappointingly, in fact,

for him in third. Oscar Pastry also in the McLaren. He came home fourth. Then it was Carlos

Seitz also getting the fastest lap. Nico Holcomberg in the house came home sixth.

Lance Strong and Fernando Alonso returning to the points consistently.

Seventh and eighth for them.

Alex Albon getting some points for Williams in ninth and Yuki Sonoda, rounding out the points in 10th place.

And it was Sergeant Magnuson Ricardo.

Charlotte Clerk down there in 14th, Bottas, Esteban, Ocon, Perez in 17th, and

Jo Guanyu in 18th. Non-classified there for George Russell and Pierre Gasley. Well, joining me
