And today I'm joined by associate editor Dominic Nichols and James Kilner, currently travelling across Poland,

who reported on the vicious Russian attacks on civilian targets over the weekend.

I started by asking Dom for a summary of the attack and the international reaction.

Well, hi, Francis and hello everybody.

So Nipro, the city, the same name as the river that it runs alongside or that it sits alongside,

a city of about 1.4 million people hit on Saturday, part of a wave of attacks across the country.

Hit on Saturday dozens believed to have died.

The regional governor last update this morning said the 40 people have been killed 75 injured.

35 people still missing, but obviously that's from Saturday.

So the hopes of putting any more survivors from the rubble are fading fast.
