Jaguars Design Chief has been ousted, a surprise move that was described by Autocart as him being escorted from the building.

His name is Jerry McGovern.

He's held the top design job since 2020. And yes, his name was above the door

around Jaguars, flagship, all-electric grand Torah, the Type I concept. And yes, it had lots of

attention internally and externally from the automotive industry, from that brand video, commercial,

whatever it is they made with the bright colours and showing

everything but a car and re-changing the Jaguar logo and things like that left the business immediately

under the new chief executive who's been there a short while. Kea's EV2 will arrive at the Brussels

Motor Show in Belgium, January the 9th. So a step down from the

EV3. Battery size is well. The little Hyundai Insta has a 49 kilowatt pack, but the big EV3 pack is

what, 81 kilowatt hours. So maybe somewhere between that. We'll see. BYAD is expanding their battery

warranties. It's now 250,000 kilometres or

eight years in Norway. The rest of the vehicle is still very generous as well. BYD saying that

along with the factory warranty of six years and 150Ks, but the expanded battery warranty

should put to rest any lingering fears from those that haven't

gone EV yet with the reliability of electric vehicles. The European Commission is weighing some

rules that would push petrol and diesel out of Europe's corporate fleets. Now, some car makers

do big business, half their business from fleets, leasing, rental companies,

company car fleets. And if those pure combustion cars were banned from 2030, some call it a
