That is going from 18 to 26 kilowatt hours in the new Cayenne S-E hybrid, which gives you, I don't know the EPA range because they haven't announced it,

but I would say somewhere around 30 miles of range every day if you do charge your plug-in hybrid Porsche Cayenne. That looks like that's a really

decent improvement. Dealers in the US are expressing concern over the EV tax credit direct

application from January. It goes from being seven and a half grand tax credit off next year's

tax bill to a dealer administered, you know, effective cash on the hood subsidy, but they're

worried about how long the federal government could give them, take to give them their money back.

You know, dealers are not sitting on piles of free capital, otherwise they'd buy more stock

to sell you. So they're worried that if it takes weeks, perhaps months, it could lead to a cash

crunch for an industry that typically doesn't have a huge amount of free cash just kind of

lying around. That needs to be dealt with in the US before January. Volkswagen is temporarily

pausing production of the ID3 and Cooper are born for a couple of weeks over the

autumn holidays because they say that they've got oversupply and under demand for those two
