Battery pack prices keep on falling down 20% in 2024, according to the International Energy Agency.

That is the largest annual decline since 2017, largely because of a drop in lithium prices.

And by the way, at the last time lithium prices this low 10 years ago, and yet we need six times more lithium than that time 10 years ago, driven, of course, by the batteries needed in pure electric vehicles and

plug-in hybrids as well. SA.E, the International Standards Agency kind of committee that look after

J-3400. Now it's no longer the Tesla plug, but you can call it that if you want to, or the NACS

connector, releasing the dash 2 specification, releasing the mechanical and architectural

details of their EV connectors. So anybody can make a charger, anybody can make an EV, or the

2D, 3D models are out of the J3400-2 version, actually removes some of the plastic, and I I gather or some of the material of the

connector and I gather that is to give a physical bigger, a wider separation needed to safely

deliver a thousand volts with that connector now which is very good.

We look forward to see how hard and how far they can push the NACS or NACS or J-3400

standard. Ford's power promise rolled out last year in the US, in the UK, earlier this year,

and now Germans get the Ford Power Promise. You get your home charger. You get free home

charging as well. You get free breakdown and recovery.

That's for the Explorer, the Capri, the Puma Gen E and the E Transit E-Torneo Courier, yeah, as well.

Tesla is finally launching the official Model 3 tow package. Now, I think for as long as I can remember, I've been able to officially

spec a tow bar on a Tesla Model 3. However, now coming to the design studio in Canada and the

United States for $1,300 or $1,700 Canadian, a factory-fits tobar option finally.

But New Jersey are the Turnpike Authority removing 64 supercharger stalls on the toll road linking northern and southern New Jersey.

They've gone with Apple Green instead.
