So tomorrow in London, we are ending the lockdown in this city.

And we are going from a complete countrywide lockdown, now into less of a lockdown, known as

Tier 2 here in London, Tier 3 in many parts of the country, especially to our brothers and sisters up in

the north, which means for all effective purposes that we are still on lockdown. It's like we've

been wearing a very tight pair of shoes around for months and months, and they've now allowed

us to take off the tight shoes. And we're walking

around saying, wow, look at this great comfort. Look at this incredible freedom we have. Although in a few

weeks from now, we'll be asked to put on that tight pair of shoes again. And the problem is,

is that you're going to be given even tighter pairs of shoes and even tighter pairs of shoes.

And one day, you're not going to be able to put on those pairs of shoes that the government asks you to try to squeeze on your feet, even though it's really uncomfortable and it doesn't make any sense and you can't really walk right.

But they're convincing you that you have to do it for your own health and safety and the safety of your community. Until one day you can't actually put them on and then they'll say, we're going to have to chop off your feet to get them on. But, you know, it's the only thing we can do, and it's at the interest of everyone

and the science shows that it's necessary because we've got to get these shoes on. And, you know,

um, a few of us will acquiesce and pretty soon, maybe no one will even have feet anymore. And it goes

on and on from there. And honestly, that's just an analogy that I just made up right here on the spot. And it's

a comparison of what we've seen here, which is what one of my guests this year called the

totalitarian tiptoe. And it's a way of slowly constricting our own civil rights and our own human

rights into where we don't even realize that we should

have these as humans anymore. And that comes down to this concept of freedom. You know, a lot of us in

the West like to talk about how free we are, especially compared to places like China and North Korea

and other nations. And we walk around proud that we have fought for these freedoms

and that we are free.
