Well, we've heard the rumors and it looks like it's true.

Your current mayor of London is lobbying to take London back into a tier three lockdown,

which is going to decimate our economy.

He's already called out to shut down our entire education system.

And luckily, our prime minister has put a hold on that for now.

But taking us into tier three is going to have devastating effects for our economy.

The UK hospitality has already said that that decision will permanently destroy 160,000 jobs

if we go ahead and make this move into tier three.

And while it's true that in some boroughs like Havering in London,

the cases have gone over 400 per 100,000,

and in boroughs like Kensington and Chelsea,

it's still around the 100 level.

And this is the places where the retail establishments are

and the businesses are that so desperately need

this Christmas season to survive.

2020 has been a year where your current mayor has been lobbying,

has been crusading to shut this city down.

And everyone that I've spoken to on my program, London Reel,

people from the hospitality industry, people from the tourism industry,

people from the theaters and arts, former economists, doctors, scientists, Nobel Prize winners,

they've all told me that lockdown is not the solution. Really, it's true. The costs don't outweigh the benefits. And yet your current mayor
