I'd like to say Chris Sims is tardy.

I would have a lot of fun with that as Chris Sims makes his way to the studio in Stamford, Connecticut today. But that is not the case.

Our good friend Christopher got boosted yesterday. And as I violate his HIPAA rights, let me just

continue by saying he's feeling under the weather today. So you have to deal with me and only me

for the next two hours. Don't touch that dial. It'll be fine. It'll be fine. I took a couple shots to keel on the way up just to loosen things up a little bit. Was that wrong? Was that inappropriate? I'm kidding, please. Don't fire me yet. Just wait until after the show, then pass judgment NBC. It's fine. We used to do this all the time. Now, I don't have stats to kick around anymore he used to help me

in the East Coast. But Paul Allen, possibly. I texted him right before the show started. I didn't

want to wake him up. I didn't want to wake him up. Because those of us in the media tend to sleep with our phones on. And I tend to not appreciate

getting non-important text messages while I'm asleep. And I don't know about you, but my solution

to that is once it happens, once anyone texts me with something not

important other than like close family member that I need to potentially be available to

respond to questions or assist or whatever may happen, people get sick in the middle of the night.
