These days, everybody is talking about the apocalypse.

And I think it's an important teaching series for the very simple reason that people do not understand

the book of Revelation. And I talked about the word apocalypse. That's actually the name of the book.

And in Greek it means the revealing. That is the revealing of the Lord Jesus Christ at his second coming. But it has become

a word now that's in the vocabulary meaning disaster. Anything that the disaster is an apocalypse.

And of course we've got a lot of movies and so forth and so on. But you're here to set all

that straight, right? Right. The apocalypse has been taken out of context by the secular world,

meaning, as you said, disaster. But it really is a revelation of things to come,

letting us know in advance what's coming so that we have hope and we know.

because when people hear the term the book of revelation they very often have the reaction,
