Now, players' names will be replaced on the back of their shirts with Black Lives Matter for the first 12 matches of the restarted Premier League season.

There will be a Black Lives Matter badge on the front of those shirts for the rest of the campaign, and the

Premier League will also support any player who chooses to take a knee before or during matches.

The lack of representation from the black community in positions of real power within football

was a game question by Rahim Sterling last week, and I'm delighted to be joined by Brendan Batson OBE.

Brendan was a distinguished top flight player with the likes of Arsenal and West Brom.

He played a significant role in the launch of the Let's Kick racism out of football campaign in 1993. Brendan has held advisory roles with the Football Association
