Summary

(00:00-24:39) – Friday’s show begins with Brian Noe and Brendan King giving a preview of Purdue-Rutgers just before tip-off. Plus, we look ahead to Indiana-Maryland tonight and share what we need to see from both Indiana and Purdue for them to be successful in March.

(24:40-40:49) – We’re back from break with Brendan and Brian looking at some research Brian did on QBs taken in the 1st Round over the last 15 years and how their careers pan out.

(40:50-45:10) – Hour number one closes with Brendan and Brian discussing the Pacers win over the Rockets last night and the likeability of Pacers stars Tyrese Haliburton.

(45:11-1:09:37) – The Fan’s own Kevin Bowen of Kevin and Query joins the program to give us his thoughts on Purdue-Rutgers at halftime of their Big Ten Tourney matchup. Plus, KB evaluates Purdue as a whole and if he feels they are in danger of another upset in the NCAA Tournament. Later, Kevin gives us his reasonable scenario for what happens to the Colts in next month’s NFL Draft.

(1:09:38-1:21:30) – We’ve got an update on Purdue-Rutgers plus a look at fouling up 3 late in basketball games.

(1:21:31-1:29:13) – Hour number two ends with Brian and Brendan discussing the NFL Free Agent Market at wide receiver.

(1:29:14-1:54:56) – The talented Zach Osterman of the IndyStar joins the program to give us his thoughts on Indiana’s Big Ten Tournament opener against Maryland in the Quarterfinals. Zach shares what he’s seen from Maryland this year and how he values them against IU. We also look back at Indiana’s loss to Maryland earlier this year and what went wrong for the Hoosiers. Additionally, we look at the lack of shot attempts from beyond the arc for Trey Galloway and other shooters for Indiana. Plus, we discuss where Indiana can find contributions when things aren’t falling for Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jalen Hood-Schifino. Later, Zach gives us his outlook for Indiana not just in the Big Ten Tourney but for the start of March Madness next week.

(1:54:57-2:10:20) – Brendan King and Brian Noe discuss the emphasis put on the final teams into the tournament.

(2:10:21-2:15:24) – Friday’s show ends with Brendan and Brian discussing which sport is the most frustrating for superstar players when their teammates let them down. Plus, we ask Jimmy Cook for the JCook Plays of the Day.
