On Monday, we'll see the full spectacle of her state funeral play out in central London.

This week, the President and First Lady Biden will fly to London, ditch their private helicopter,

and take a bus to the official funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The international trip just weeks before the midterms is being used to both pay respect to the Queen

and her enduring commitment to democracy, and to push back against

autocratic forces currently threatening the globe.

And with the eyes of the world upon him, Biden will return to New York and address the

UN General Assembly. Well, he will urge support for the rag-tag group of fighters reinforced with Western weapons

who are putting up stunning victories against a much larger war machine.

The Russian retreat is one of the biggest defeats since the war began in February.

Ukraine's president says so far this month, 6,000 square kilometers of once occupied territory

has been retaken from Russian forces.

America's most senior diplomat calls it encouraging.

This is on the heels of somewhat disturbing summit between Russia and China,

where Putin and Xi Jinping presented a united front as a counterbalance to the United States and our allies.
