I hate to report this, but it's possible that the world has gone completely mad.

At least this week, maybe next week will be better.

But as of this moment, countries around the world are in a state of upheaval.

In Pakistan, 33 million people have been displaced due to flooding.

In Russia, 300,000 people are being conscripted and shipped off to fight Putin's war in Ukraine.

And in Iran, women are risking their lives and burning their headscarves in protest after the so-called morality police murdered a 22-year-old woman in their custody.

Iranians have taken to the street chanting death to the dictator,

and at least 17 people have died in clashes with police, but such is the price of oppression.

Protests breaking out at universities across the country, spreading to the streets in cities across Iran.

Women are showing displays of defiance against the strict dress code,

burning their hijabs while large crowds cheer them on.

We should understand this is an act of solidarity against a corrupt, repressive regime

that dictates to women what to do with their bodies and how to cover or uncover it.

Back here in the United States, former NFL star Brett Farf stole millions of dollars in welfare funds from the poorest county in Mississippi.
