Trump's power is waning. I know I shouldn't say it out loud. I don't want to jinx it.

But Trump doesn't have the juice he had even a month ago. The January 6th committee has

turned the drip, drip, drip of evidence against Trump into an open spigot and the shit

is clearly hitting the fan in Trump land. How else do you explain the former president

calling a witness who hasn't yet testified to the committee and leaving a message, an

actual message that's not like him. He's getting sloppy. He'd never leave fingerprints.

Well, at least not in the old days, but now it's all coming undone and I can say without

much hesitation that Trump's best days are behind him.

President Trump is a 76 year old man. He is not an impressionable child. As our investigation

has shown, Donald Trump had access to more detailed and specific information showing

that the election was not actually stolen than almost any other American. And he was told

this over and over again. No rational or sane man in his position could disregard that

information and reach the opposite conclusion. And Donald Trump cannot escape responsibility

by being willfully blind.

But where is the Republican pushback if the Tuesday's expansive hearing into the insurrection?

Why isn't Kevin McCarthy holding a press conference to complain that the January 6th committee

is illegitimate and attacking an innocent man? Where a Hannity and Laura Ingramed Rebuttles,

where is at least a phonics maniacal tweet defending her lord and master? You know the

answer? No where. Fucking nowhere. That's where. And I'm betting that right about now,

Staphonic is wishing she was on Team Cheney, where you can be both the Republican and the

...
