And today we have an absolutely fascinating guest, a fellow survivor of a cult world.

As everybody who knows me that was was in the Mooney's. Well, Alva was

involved with John of God, but more significantly for our talk today with the Trump

cult, or the cult of Trump, to quote my book. Let me just introduce Alva Johnson to all of you. She is a

native Alabamian. You were a three-time All-State, two-time volleyball winner, player. I mean,

you've had quite a career. I'd say to summarize it, you are a people

person and an organizer and an event planner. You helped to do the Olympics when it came to

Atlanta. You work with all kinds of companies and athletes. But I'm most interested, Ava, because of our connection with

Donald Trump, me as an outside person criticizing you as a former insider person with some

very unique experiences, perspectives,

and you reached out to me, I think initially in 2021, and I forgive me for not responding

to your email, but then more recently your NDA that you had signed for the Trump cult was invalidated.

That's the word I was looking for by courts of loss, and now you said I can talk.

And so we've talked a few times, and every time I'm more and more fascinated, and more I'm believing that

you can help us, in your terms, reverse engineer how Trump got in power in the first place.

But let me just say a few more things, and then we'll open up the conversation.

So you got involved with the Trump campaign unofficially in 2015, but officially in the

beginning of 2016.

And you were director of outreach and coalitions for the 2016 Trump campaign.
