Iran is becoming more defiant as the war goes on.

I spoke with Senator Elizabeth Warren, who says this evening that it's worse than you think.

Based on classified briefings that she's received behind the scenes,

she is sounding the alarm over the fact that the Trump administration is not being

honest with Congress. Republicans privately are becoming concerned, according to her, and well,

Iran is becoming more defined. It comes as the Iranian military is reportedly beginning,

or at least planning to, mine the the straight of Hormuz, which would

effectively halt all ships from going in and out of the place where 20% of the world's oil

goes through. All while in the United States Senate, the SAVE Act is effectively dead this evening.

I want to begin by showing you a more defiant Iran.

This evening, Iran is becoming more defiant. Iran has

now spurned two messages from Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Whitkoff, seeking a ceasefire,

as its leader since it is not losing the war, and the U.S. President is at minimum feeling the political pressure. The foreign minister of Iran has

further said that a unilateral declaration from Trump that the United States has won the war

would not bring an end to the war. This implication is that even if the United States announced

the willingness to end its attack, Iran might be willing to continue the conflict in some form or keep a chokehold

on its ships that are trying to navigate through the Strait of Hormuz.
