What must impulse?

Hello and welcome, up at the fringe, about five days into my run here. And I think it I am of course up at the fringe uh getting about five days

into my run here and I think it's kind of appropriate to be in Scotland because there's a there's a wee

bit of a Scottish flavour to this because uh nicholas sturgeon nicholas sturgeon I mean the

problem is with any accent I do it just becomes more culturally insensitive the longer it goes but

she's had her book out and I'm sure you've seen her doing the rounds this week. Her book is called, Frankly, is that a catchphrase verse or something? I don't know. But anyway, she's been out hawking her book and doing lots of interviews, getting in rows with J.K. rolling. And she, well, look, the bottom line is it hasn't always gone the way that she's expected.

And I just saw just before hopping on to do this that she cancelled one-to-one meetings with a lot of media, including Sky News and so on,

and just favoured like a 14-minute huddle with all of the journalists, which always says that, you know, someone's a bit scared of scrutiny.

So I'm going to talk about her book and what she does and doesn't say.

There's been some interesting stuff in there.

Put it this way.

There's not quite as much on dodgy ferry acquisitions and drugs deaths as you might expect.

So we're going to talk about that.

Just to say that as I'm recording this, it's 10 a.m. on Friday.

where the whole world has been turned on its axis.

And I don't know.

Donald Trump has given Putin the whole of Ukraine and access and maybe parts of fucking, I don't

know, Florida, then apologies for not mentioning that.
