transfer show at approximately five minutes ago. But Paul Joyce, the incredible Paul Joyce,

has dropped an absolute bomb. I'm glad to say I'm joined by the Red Men's very own Steaugh and

BBC Radio Maisyside, Chris Coughlin for this.

First of all, I can see everyone in the chat going absolutely mental.

It felt like it's been a long couple of weeks here, Stee.

How excited are you off the back?

Yeah, Joyce's dropped the bomb there, everyone's followed into it.

Yeah, I think it's been expected, hasn't it?

So it was around the final game of the season.

I remember Friday before, I think, I was in the Echo Arena or the M&S arena or whatever, you call it now,

and the news dropped that.

Floridian Virtus decides he wants to go to Liverpool.

And it was like, wow, now can you get a deal done?

At that point, I think we all pretty much expected it,

but like you say, it's taken a couple of weeks.

But Liverpool, who, you know, cautious maybe in the transfer market,

not exactly known for splashing the cash,

well, they're about to break the British transfer record or close to.

I think it looks like they are.

So, yeah, they've got themselves a world-class player.
