And Patricia with Brian Burns and Kvon Tibido and even Abdul-Carter, whom the Giants drafted last year. Were you surprised? They decided to go with Reese at five? Not really. I mean, Ernie, of course, he'd want the one-time general manager of the Giants always used to like to say, you can never have too many pass rushers. And it's so true. I mean, you can rotate these guys now. You can keep them fresh. You can come up with a NASCAR package, which was a big thing. You know,

the last time the Giants won the Super Bowl in 2007, I mean, there's so many things you can do

with this group. And oh, by the way, if you have an injury, now you have depth, solid depth,

to step in there. And if you decide you want to trade Tibido because he's in the final year of his

contract, you've got that option as well. Yeah, yeah, you're right. That gives a lot of flexibility,

a lot of versatility to what this New York Giants front office can do by going ahead and drafting

Arvel Reese. And when you look at what he brings to the table, what do you like most about Reese and what he can be in this Giants defense? Yeah, I think he can be a game wrecker. I mean, you can never have too many of those guys. This is a guy who's got quickness, who's got tenacity. He's a guy you can line up just about anywhere. You can play him on the weak side, which is the spot that was previously held by Micah McFad. I think that's a big, big upgrade for the Giants. So I'm really excited about this pick. I was shocked that he was there, to be honest with you. I didn't think he would make it down to the Giants at five, but there they were, and I'm sure they ran that card right up to the podium. Right. And I'm sure, right, a sigh of relief that they didn't have to do anything special moving up to get him.

Because, you know, and granted, the Giants do have, of course, another first round draft pick,

but ultimately as much as you can do to not lose any type of capital or any assets.

I mean, that's definitely what you want to have done.

And of course, as good as Reese is, he's still going to be a rookie.

So what areas of development for him do you see just in terms of him being potentially

prepared to be ready to start for the regular season?

As you mentioned, should they decide to part ways with Kvon Tibido? Yeah, I think he's going to have to, you know, find his niche on this defense. You know, are they going to play him as an off ball linebacker? Are they going to play him as an edge rusher? You know, obviously learning the language is going to be a big thing. But, you know, this is a guy who's got a very good core set of skills. And I think he's a fast learner. And he's going to come in and he's going to fit in right away. I know Brian Burns is kind of the big brother of that outside linebacker group. I'm sure he will take him under his wing and just, you know, help him along. But, you know,

R. L. Reese, you know, with all rookies, you know, they all have to get stronger, you know,

they have to adjust to the speed of the game. So all things that will come with practice reps.
