In France, prosecutors have announced a large-scale, wide-ranging criminal investigation into those associated with Jeffrey Epstein, not just into the financial

dealings of those associated with Epstein, but also related to possible sex trafficking claims,

reopening claims against Jean-Luc Brunel, a key co-conspirator of Epstein's who has since

died by suicide in prison. At the same time, here at home, members of Congress

continue to demand answers from the administration, which is stonewalling them. As one Republican

prosecutors had appointed magistrates to analyze

the Epstein files to uncover possible offenses, particularly of a sexual or financial nature

committed by French nationals. Information revealed in nearly three million pages of documents

released by the Justice Department last month has sent shockwaves

through Europe and beyond, with its revelations of many wealthy and powerful people's associations

with Mr. Epstein, the disgraced financier, and sex offender. In a statement to the public,

prosecutors said investigators were examining the newly released

documents to determine whether to open quote, investigations into evidence that may constitute
