You know, we speculated, Tom, that this kind of thing could very well happen if you continue

to go out and bring quarterbacks in.

It makes for an unsettling room, an unsettled room, whatever it might be. It also might just

be a very modern set of circumstances. It also might very well be just that four state went two

and ten. And when you go two and ten, I got to imagine there's quite a bit of upheaval, there's

quite a bit of frustration, there's quite a bit of uncertainty about the future of a program.

Now we're watching it play out in real time in which you're bringing in new coaches and new

offenses.

And obviously that affects the kid's decision to stay or leave.

Do I like this offense that you're bringing in?

Is it something I want to run?

Do I think it's best suited

for me and my future if I have designs on being an NFL player? I'm just floating out a lot

of ideas as to what could lead a player to decide to put his name in the portal. So it's not

altogether surprising at all that Luke Cromenhock or any other quarterback on this roster would put his name in the portal, given the upheaval of this season and the changes now that we see coming.

You could be looking for a stabilizing force.

I wish Luke Cromenhock all the best, wherever it is he goes.
