Green Bay Packers have released two-time Pro Bowl Center Elton Jenkins.

Can't even get the first couple words out right.

Obviously, this is the other big shoot-a-drop in regard to the Elton Jenkins,

Rishon Gary Saga.

No doubt they were trying to trade him as well as Rishon.

There were just a handful of variables in this one.

Obviously, number one is the fact that you want to hold on as long as you possibly can.

I was starting to wonder if maybe this was going to drag out for a while.

There is the possibility that as teams look to sign centers and as they start to lose out on guys,

that they may start to turn their attention to maybe being more open to Elton Jenkins.

The only two things that would be kind of preventing that,

number one would be if they've just completely decided that zero people are interested in

nobody, under any circumstance, is willing to take him on for any real value.

Or number two, they decide that it would be unfair to Elton Jenkins to let his market

completely dry up.

And so they gave it the old college try and then decided to move on.

Now, the one thing that is possible that I think is worth keeping an eye on, because again, it's

entire, well, I guess this is another variable. I forgot to mention. The, it's possible this is

because of Elton. It's possible because there's nothing going on here. The other thing to keep

an eye on, though, is they needed that money. Packers are not exactly massively rich
