And we're live. Good to have everybody here today. We got a couple of interesting headlines to get to. This is a Trish Riegan show. I am Trish. And it seems that Comcast is really, really itching to get this deal done. You know, the one where they get to get rid of Rachel Maddow. They just reported earnings yesterday. And that was sort of the highlight. I mean, other than the fact that,

you know, they're still struggling on the streaming side. I think they only have 41 million

subscribers at that peacock network. It just like hasn't budged at all. I think they're charging a

little bit more, but they're not growing subscribers at all. But the headline really is that they just

can't wait to get rid of MSNBC and one

Rachel Maddo. I mean, she's kind of synonymous, if you would, with MSNBC these days. And this company

is ready, willing, and able to discard her pretty fast. So here are the numbers, right? So if you

look at their earnings, they did actually generate

some revenue. It grew by 2%. 30.31 billion dollars. Not too bad. But here's what's interesting.

Advertising revenue, that dropped 7%. They did see an increase in revenue, but not overall numbers

in terms of the peacock subscribers.

Why is this relevant?

Because they're still really struggling.

I mean, they get a few things like what, Love Island USA, which apparently is like the only

draw there on peacock.

And so that was a big deal.

That was their big sort of significant feather in their cap, if you would.

But here's what's fascinating to me.

They talked about a record breaking up front for NBC Universal, NBC Universal.

And then they started going on and on about how they're really able to, like, synergize

their linear and streaming media businesses into some kind of holistic thing overall.

And here's the kicker, okay?
