You begin of course with this spectacular waterfall, the devil's throat.

What is that, Mary?

Well, it's a huge waterfall system.

It's called the Igwasu Falls.

The Devil's Throat is one of the falls in this system.

The reason they call it a system

is because the different waterfalls

are broken up by small patches of land.

So there's one huge one, and that's called Devil's Throat,

and then there's some smaller ones so in all it's called the

Igwasu Falls but the Devil's Throat is the largest and and uh and as I explained in the column quite

terrifying because when you view it from the Brazilian side, you're pretty close to it.

I mean, you look over the railing and it's right there.

So it's, as I said, both exhilarating and also kind of terrifying.

The tourist attraction is evident.
