Thank you, thanks for having me.

Yeah, look, we're three days into the new year and Trump is already trying to start a war

with Iran to distract, you know from his upcoming Senate trial and his corrupt presidency

and I want to get your take on that but but before I'm really excited to have you on the show today because you're one of the survivors of the Pulse nightclub shooting

where 49 of our LGBTQ brothers sisters allies, including two of your friends, were

murdered in one of the worst hate crimes and mass shootings in our nation's

history.

Yet you persisted and have channeled what I imagine is the worst day of your life into

bold action to end gun violence in America. Just last year you became the first

pulse nightclub survivor to testify before Congress to demand them to take action and use every tool in their toolbox to end the gun violence epidemic in America, including to reinstitute the assault weapons ban.
