Hey, everybody, welcome. I hope that you've taken a look at the Newsweek op-ed that I did this week called

A Revolution of Love. I talk about the fact that these are revolutionary times. I was looking

at a Netflix series about Bobby Kennedy. And in the whole section about the civil rights movement,

there was a talk about the civil rights movement being a revolution.

One of the lines from John F. Kennedy

that I really love is where he said,

those who make peaceful revolution impossible,

make violent revolution inevitable.

These are indisputably revolutionary times.

The only two choices that stand before us is, will this be a revolution of love and justice,

or will it be a revolution of violence and pain? The circumstances that confront us now, the

extraordinary amount of suffering among tens of millions of people, and we're just even talking in

this country alone,

the extraordinary economic hardship that was already existing even before the pandemic,

but is now so exacerbated not only by the pandemic,

but by our Congress's cruel inaction related to the pandemic compared to, for instance, the reaction of governments

in almost every other advanced democracy is making the economic hardship, the despair,

the hunger, the problem not only for what people are experiencing now, but will be experienced

for years in the future, so much greater. This is unsustainable. This is like an earthquake,

that we're actually making things so much worse than they even were before. We're making

things so much worse even than they have to be by our Congress's

complete refusal to give the kind of direct cash relief that we need. They've already spent over
