welcome back to gabbing with gibb i'm your host Gips and Johns and happy 2025. I hope everyone's had an incredible holiday season and is excited for what's to come this year. Everyone should make all the resolutions you want. Don't let anyone judge you. No comparison to others. Don't care what anybody else thinks about how you want to improve yourself

and your life this year. There's a lot of judgment around resolutions and I don't really understand

it. I mean, my goals and resolutions run the gamut, really. I mean, it's everything from like,

try to stretch every day to having specific number goals on where I want to grow this podcast to,

but I also try not to be too hard on myself for

not reaching those goals or being inconsistent about some of them at that point in the year.

To me, it's all about just trying to be better in general. I'm also not someone who is cut

and dry dry with that kind of thing either. Like with dry January, for example, I'm not someone

whoever partakes in dry January, and I get why people do it and more power to whoever decides to partake in it. But for me, I'd rather show restraint and exhibit moderation, like try not to drink during the week, go out a little less on the weekends versus completely cutting something out. But again, that's just how I think about it. But in general, I just think it's a great thing

that there is a time of year where people are just thinking about bettering themselves and

being more positive and self-improvement and changing their lifestyles and their lives for the

better. Even if we don't hold up our ends of the bargain all year, to me, it's a net positive,
