This is very exciting because right now we are talking back to back episodes.

Last week I completed my collection of the Hey Riddle Riddle

group and this week I'm completing my collection. What a creepy I'm a collector. Still I am a collector.

And this week I have collected my final crime writer.

You know I love their podcast so much, so it is high time that I had the great Toby Ball on the podcast. I hope that everybody is

getting through the world today. I'm just gonna leave it at that and stay well and I'll talk to you next week. Oh, I also chuckled at Rebecca deciding that you were the metal head of the crime records.

That made me laugh.

Yeah.

And you said like, I don't know, maybe more like Grateful Dead, like what were you,

when you look at that landscape because you and I are definitely from the era that stranger things was sort of you know set in originally were there things about that show or beyond that you were like, I mean, that's accurate, like I had those friends or I knew those kids?

Yeah, I mean, some of it definitely was. I mean, the riding around on bikes everywhere, like I feel like that was definitely a thing

sort of the Dungeons and Dragons underground was kind of a thing I think some of the school stuff is pretty right on and maybe it's the same now.

Yeah. I don't know how like era specific like the lunchroom scene is like is it different like if you popped into the lunch room in like 1983 is a different than it is now in

2022 like I don't know yeah but yeah I mean I could I could kind of see it. It seemed to me to be more sort of

reminiscent of like movie versions of that era rather than the reality of that era

which you know, it seemed more ET-ish

than it did, you know, my actual high school or middle school

or whatever.

Where did you just feel people know where did you grow up?

Where did you go to junior high in high school?

So we moved all over the place until I was in fifth grade and then we settled in just outside Syracuse, New York, upstate New York.
