Hal Sparks. Just wanted to give you a little sampling of the summer to come.

Hal has a bunch of shows coming up and I wanted to push his episode forward so that people would have more opportunities to see him, his band.

Of course you can check out his morning show, there's just a lot going on.

I don't know if you know this but a long time ago people

couldn't read and then a bunch of people went everybody should read and they

went oh dear God everyone could read now they're all maniacs you know what maybe we

should pick who can read and who can't and then and then after a while after a few people went okay I'm gonna read this on your behalf and then more

more of you read and then more of you read and then maybe everybody can read one day

but you know we had a real Tower of Babel problem and we had to dial it back. So all technology has had

you know great leaps forward and and giant falls back. That's a great no you're you're totally

right I just I just read Susan Orleans the library book where she sort of goes into the history of the

Very very specific very wonky LA library and the fact that like it

There was it was burned mostly down in

1986 but that didn't get a lot of press and da da da da. Anyway she really

walked out about it and got like super into the weeds in it.

And it's a great book, but one of the things that she does sort of catalog is like this transition
