I've seen a post from Eddie Hain yesterday which triggered me. He messaged Ray Ford publicly on X and Twitter

and used the words still unbeaten in my eyes and then hitting about Ray Ford's move up to Superfederweight. I don't care about

undefeated. I don't care about unbeaten. That was a generation of boxing that's gone now.

Mayweather was the one that really took it as far as you can.

You know, he ran it right to the death, you know, underfeited,

that was the big thing.

Getting to 50, you know, even though, let's be honest, he scraped over the line at the end.

But again, when he got to the end, did anyone give a flying fuck?

Did anybody care?

The problem with boxing is we don't get the big fights, we don't get big fights often enough. The best don't fight the best often enough enough but that's the way the sport is going

we're led to believe that the Saudi Arabian money coming into boxing will ultimately unlock

the best fighting the best more consistently. We're going to get champion

cross weight divisions single weight divisions. We're going to get

tournaments which unlock the best of the best which ultimately crown them number one in each way class.

So where's like undefeated, unbeaten need to be cast aside, knocked down, laid down in the

analysts of boxing history of a certain period of time where
