We're continuing our series, Beauty and Boundaries. And today we're discussing boundaries with yourself.

We've had lots of other videos talking about how you, as a feminine woman,

can have boundaries with other people, like your friends, your parents, and

dating. And today we're going to talk about one of the most important part of

boundaries is keeping yourself accountable by having limitations on what you do and do not do.

So I'm super excited to talk about this. I want you to go ahead and sit back relax get something to drink get something to

write with and let's talk about this. So the idea of having boundaries with

yourself as a feminine woman is the idea of thinking

about your self-imposed limitations. These are things that you are telling yourself

that you're going to do and things that you're choosing not to do.

No one is forcing you to do any of these things, but these are going to be the things that

help to make you the person that you are. So I want you to think about this. Do you take yourself

seriously as a person? If you tell yourself you're not going to do something. Can you follow your own rules? An essential part of being

a mature woman is having limits to the choices that you make. Your life is free, free to do whatever it is that you want to do. Your life is free, free to do whatever it is that you want to do.

But at certain points in time, you do have to step back and think, is what I'm doing serving me.

Now, so many of us women have never had any healthy adults or role models to sort of teach us how to have boundaries with ourselves. Depending on what kind of home you grew up in, this is one of those things that your parents should have molded you to be able to stand on your own as an adult to do.

However, if you had parents who struggled with setting boundaries for you. Maybe they had no restrictions

and let you do whatever you wanted as a child. Or perhaps you had parents that were too strict
