We enjoy getting you on when things are happening with basketball and or football.

There's stuff to talk about on both those fronts, but we want to focus first on basketball today because of the news that Hunter Dickinson is back and he is coming back for his junior year. Talk about

what that means for Joanne Howard and his crew. Yeah, I mean, it means everything. To have a guy like Hunter return to be the focal point of a program that, you know, his, let's face it, I mean, the expectations are to reach the second weekend of the NCAA tournament at least. They've done it five consecutive tournaments. So, I mean, he, I think he goes into next season

as the Big Ten player of the year and preseason is the favorite to win that in the postseason.

And the fact that, you know, he told me on our podcast, defend the block, that, you know, I didn't

want the distraction. I wanted to lock in on, you know,

not going through the process again because I felt, he said he's like, I'd feel like it was just

kind of me, you know, I'd be going through the motions. I'd just be doing it just to do it.

My heart wouldn't be completely in it. So, I mean, we all saw what he

meant to the team last year. And that was as, you know, the on him was increasing. He had to deal

with double teams, triple teams. This wasn't his freshman season where he was able to operate a lot

more frequently in one-on-one

situations.

So, listen, there's still plenty of room for him to grow in his game.

I still think there is a, you know, a real path for him in the NBA once he takes that step.

And also, I mean, I know it's not talked about a whole lot.
