And since I was young, I remember listening with my mom to early albums and really listening for lyrics and the concerts that we've been fortunate to go to, Julie and I, she always says, why are you now, like, dancing?

And she's like, you just stand there.

I stand there because I'm listening for content and for meaning. And I think I'd do that

with a lot of different artists, you know, besides some are just like catchy tunes. But when you

really understand the depth and meaning behind song titles and song lyrics, one of my

favorite classes in undergrad was the psychology of music

with Dr. Miller. And it was a great class, and it really touched on science and, you know,

activation in certain regions of the brain, but also some existential questions.
