Welcome to our daily Rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

So in these days between November 5th and the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on December 8th,

we are taking these 33 days to prepare ourselves to consecrate or reconsecrate ourselves to Jesus through Mary.

And St Louis de Montfort says that we should make this a particular time of getting to know Jesus better.

So we're just taking a scene from each chapter in the Gospel of John to do that and today John chapter 3 the nighttime conversation

with Nicodemus

now when Jesus met with Nicodemus that night, he told him he had to be born again.

Nicodemus was understandably confused. He said,

how can a man once grown old be born again?

Surely he cannot reenter his mother's womb

and be born again, can he?

This is because Nicodemus could only imagine

one kind of birth, a natural one. And he could imagine only one kind of person you could be born of, a human

mother. But Jesus told him that this birth would be a different kind of birth.

It would be a birth of water.

And the person you would be born of would be a different kind of person. It would be the Holy Spirit.

Our Father who arts in heaven, hallow would be your name,

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we free of those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but to

deliver us from evil, Amen.
