All right, in states' fights against the Trump administration regarding the border wall efforts, this is a new spin coming out of Arizona.

Environmentalists, of course, not going to be the state, but environmentalists have asked the judge to stop the plan to even replace existing vehicle barriers along the U.S.

Mexico border in Arizona.

And here's their argument.

The Trump administration is unlawfully waiving dozens of laws as part of that project

that will damage wildlife habitat.

Wildlife habitat.

So it's an environmental issue.

It's you replace that wall.

I'm just talking about replacing, not even building new wall.

Just replacing that part of it is going to interfere with wildlife habitation.

And so the injunction seeks to halt work on 68 miles of replacement barriers at Oregon

pipe cactus National Monument, Cabesa Prieta National Wildlife Refuge and San Pedro National

Conservation Area before the start of construction.

And this is the wall that's already there along those national areas.

But what they're saying is that right now, the wall as it is, doesn't really interfere or damage with wildlife.

You put the new wall in.

It's going to environmentally screw up everything.

And all of the laws, the environmental laws, you have violated.

Even federal laws, you're violating your own laws.

Well, we'll see what the judge has to say on that one.
