Merry Christmas. I hope you are soon capable of setting everything else aside and not only spending more time with your family and not only enjoying the spirit of holiday lights and gift giving, but also to take a moment and to take a chance to remember the season.

The reason for the season, not to preach. I've got no mountaintop where I have any place to rightfully stand, but just to take a minute as we are surrounded with happy holiday greetings as we're surrounded with Santa Claus to remember that this day and this season is about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I watched this video this week. Father Calvin Robinson from the UK taking the stand against the war on Christmas. He was saying isn't it odd how urban liberal elite have such an easy time saying happy Hanukkah or happy Eid or happy Kwanzaa.

But seemingly go out of their way to avoid Merry Christmas. It's the generic happy holiday. Now whether or not you think the war on Christmas is real. I did think the most interesting part of his video is the failed attempt to anesthetize Christmas.

Holiday means holy day. It's an alchemy of holy and days and it is the most holy of days and I do think as we are absolutely engulfed in consumerism it'll be good for the spirit and good for the soul to remember the reason for the season remember the birthday of Jesus Christ.

I don't talk much religion with you because I'm no one who's in a position capable to preach. I'm still searching I'm still working. I'll be working on getting back home this week. I'm headed to New York City amidst this insane winter storm. I'm flying probably as you listen up north and hoping to come back on December 23rd.

If I don't make it if flights are canceled I can promise you I will be living out an episode of planes trains and automobiles with John Candy and Steve Martin. I will rent a car and I will make that 24 hour road trip to get back to Texas.

Clay in buck the clay Travis and buck sexton show and at number one Sean Hannity so their lists I think are somewhat legit those are legitimate top five radio shows in the country so I was a bit surprised earlier this week when I opened it up and I saw their list of the top 20.
