This is Books and Bars. I told you all is going to be breaking down books, excerpts from my favorite books, really quick.

Breaking them down, give you my take, and also bars, meaning lyrics lyrics from my favorite rap songs. Possibly some

R&B. Probably not, though. But today is we're breaking out a book. Now, this book is really

awesome. And I have a couple different copies of this book, and I like to keep it in different

places because it's one of those books that I like to refer back to a lot.

Now, the book is called How to Get Rich, and it's by Felix Dennis, and he is the guy who founded

Maxim Magazine.

He died not too long ago.

I can't remember exactly when, but a few years ago.

And he is, he was worth by about 700, 800 million, something around there. So certainly not one of the richest

men in the world. Actually, no. I think that qualifies him to be one of the richest in the

world.

But definitely rich, super rich by most people's standards.

Now here's the cool thing about this book.

I don't know if you are courageous enough to announce that you'd like to get rich. I don't know if you're one of those people who act like you don't want to make a lot

of money or act like, I don't know if you have a bunch of hidden underlying negative

beliefs around money that cause you to think very small.

I can't tell you how many people I run into that way.

And I'm by no means I'm judging because I too was that

way and still battle with some of those petty, weak-minded thoughts that have been conditioned

through my past, parents, church, religion. I'm not going to get into that. And I'm not here to talk about money. I don't
