Alright, well this is going to be the third part of a series we're doing exploring the

New Testament letter to the Hebrews.

These are lectures and teachings I gave a number of years ago at the door of Hope Church

when I served as a pastor there.

And here in this lecture we're going to dive into Hebrews chapter 4 which is a man just

a powerful every part of the sermon letter is powerful.

But here the pastor is going to urge these followers of Jesus to remember a whole bunch

of themes and stories from all over the Old Testament.

He's going to recall the stories of Israel's wilderness wanderings and how they were on

their way to the Promised Land.

But then he links the life that God wanted to give his people in the Promised Land.
