Hey, neighbor. Hey, neighbor. This is our fall book club episode. So we'll spend the whole show today discussing our thoughts on the book, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.

This book is suspenseful and dark, and we thought it would make a great book to curl up with this fall.

But first, a cocktail.

And the cocktail I made for us today is definitely inspired by the book.

I bet you suspected that I was going to make this one.

You know, I didn't even put it together until I was like, oh, that's clever.

Of course.

But we are sipping a classic gin and tonic with a hearty squeeze of lime, which is actually

one of my favorite cocktails.

And we haven't,

we haven't done many of these just classic straight up cocktails. So anyway, but I, I am stepping up our game a little bit. I did a little bit of research on cocktails, on gin

and tonics. And someone was saying that they thought that the tonic makes all the difference.

I could believe that.

And that things like the Schweps brand and some of the more typical brands tend to be sweeter,

like they have added sweetener in them.

Oh, okay.

And they thought that that messed with the flavor.

Okay.

And so they actually recommended kind of a more.
