1:08.0 | After we spoke, I went and watched Room 237 and I absolutely loved that movie. I had never seen it and I had heard so much about it. |
1:20.0 | I think what was so amazing to me was the way that that director uses Kubrick footage and other film footage never shows the people that are being interviewed. |
1:30.0 | You just kind of hear them as voiceover, the entire film and it paints these incredibly elaborate pictures. |

Have you ever seen the shining backwards and forwards where they layer the final frame over the beginning frame and they just play the two layers of the movie on top of each other? |
2:46.0 | It's really trippy when I went to the very first overlook film festival, you know the film festival. They love quite deeply. |
2:54.0 | They had it at one of the shining hotels and one of the hotel room channels was just set to play like the shining backwards and forwards the whole time. |
3:02.0 | And you really see like how symmetrical it is and of course people are like, whoa I'm getting toped and like seeing all these like crazy symbols in here that I know we're deliberate and you're like, they weren't. But I love that we're just doing this. |

3:16.0 | Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves there. I mean, the end of the Titanic is pretty different than the beginning. I mean, that's like you're going to be watching a boat crash, but maybe you're looking at a relationship doomed from the very beginning. Maybe that's what you're seeing. |
