partnership. Today we are starting a little mini-series that we're beginning at my church,

focusing around God's word and the power of it. Today we're specifically looking at the book

of Proverbs and the importance of God's wisdom. This is kind of an

introductory to the Book of Proverbs as well as a passage from Proverbs chapter 3. That's a very

good example of the kind of thing you find in the Book of Proverbs. So I encourage you to really

I want to ask you as we think about the Book of Proverbs today. This question, have you had any mentors in your life?

And when you think of a mentor, I don't know if you think of an official mentorship,

someone you would ask to be your mentor and you would meet regularly and that kind of thing,

that definitely qualifies, but that's not the only thing I'm asking about.

Many of you may consider your parents were your mentors.

You may consider a teacher or a coach, or maybe someone in business who was a mentor to you.
