An Interview With the Hosts Of The Safe Haven Podcast Melissa Sandberg & Justin Rimmel & The Investigation Into The 2008 Unsolved Murder Of Judy Petty Of Parkersburg, West Virginia
This episode is an interview with the hosts of The Safe Haven Podcast, Melissa Sandberg & Justin Rimmel. They have joined up with the American Military University investigative team, Jennifer Bucholtz and George Jared, to take a real-time, boots-on-the-ground investigation into the unsolved murder of 48 year old Judy Petty, a life-long resident of Parkersburg, West Virginia. On the afternoon of February 6, 2008, Judy left her grandmother's house to walk about a mile or so to the local public library to return some books, but she failed to return home. Judy's body, what was left of it, was discovered the next day, 13 miles away, on the Petty family farm property in the rubble of the outhouse, which had been set on fire and burned to the ground. How Judy got there, why she went there, who killed her, who set the fire and why they did this are answers the Petty's are still anxious to find the answers 15 years later.
