I'm recording this from my closet studio, and it's so nice to be back in here.

And it is also the Lonely Palat's seventh birthday.

Apparently, that means it can start telling time and understanding that words

have more than one meaning, which I very much appreciate. And I wanted to give you a quick

update on the state of the show since I know it's been a while. Yes, I am still making it. The new

season is going to be starting next month on a proper, consistent, monthly release schedule,

the first Wednesday of each month. And we're going to be looking at a whole new bouquet of

artists, including Helen Frankenthaler and Cy Twombly and Barbara Kruger and James Abbott

McNeil Whistler, and of course Bob Ross. We're also planning interviews and more good

stuff, so go ahead and smash that subscribe button right now. And thank you so much for your patience
