but Saturday September 18th was Batman Day, the DC Comics approved

day of tribute to the Dark Night Detective.

However, when we salute Batman on this podcast, we do it by listening to the Adventures of Superman.

Despite his massive popularity in comics, animation, TV shows, and movies, Batman never had a radio show of his own.

Two attempts were made, a 1943 audition that is sadly lost to time and a 1950 audition that's just terrible.

Now if you have HBO Max they just launched Batman The Audio Adventures, which I haven't had a chance to listen to yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
