senior editor of InsideEVs.com. We'll also hear from United Chargers owner, Gleb, Nicky Forov.

It's a Canadian company that makes their own EV charges, and he has a lot to say about

what's happened. And finally, we'll talk to Jan Torregobi, one of the world's leading advisors on the EV industry,

currently working in Norway, helping them get to 100% EVs.

Well, last week, an LX-Way North America, quite a mouthful of the name.

The company behind Juice Box, the electric vehicle chargers made a sudden announcement that

has significant implications for EV owners in the US and Canada. An LX Way announced it will

cease all operations in the US and Canada effective October the 11th this year. Yes, that's right,

this week. They gave just a week's notice to say, we are packing up and going back to Italy.

Now some background, by the way, Anel is, according to their Wikipedia page, one of the top 60 companies in the world by revenue,

$150 billion of revenue at last count, a massive energy company in many territories around the world. I'm not sure we

have any annel actually in the UK, funnily enough, but I know huge in Europe in terms of energy

generation and in the US, they wanted a stake in the electric vehicle industry, so they bought

juice box, and then a few short years later have decided it hasn't worked out. We're packing up and

going home. Whilst October the 11th was the date they said, and admittedly, you know, at least

it was a week's notice, owners of their charges woke up the next morning to find them

effectively bricked for those charges which require some

form of cloud connection. And Elle appear to have turned off their servers immediately. But they said

we'll wait till the 11th of October. Well, this abrupt decision impacts 170,000 different

charges in the ground. That's according to the electrical business

magazine, which if it be a Canadian outlet, that's a huge number. I didn't know that NL was
