This is our second foray into a little Rangers podcast, Chris Lepresti, Cilow here with the Great Boomer

O'Syerson, as we had the Rangers hiring of Mike Sullivan late last week. We had a busy weekend

with the Fibrow Bike Tour, our first chance to kind of get back together here in person.

So we figured, let's circle back and discuss some of the happenings in and around the Rangers

right now. Yeah, so I like the Mike Sullivan hiring. I think most Ranger fans probably do like it.

There may be a few out there that don't like it.

But the reason I like it is because it first and foremost sends a message to the fan base.

We're going to have the highest paid coach.

We have a coach that won two cups in Pittsburgh.

We have a coach that was an assistant under John Tortorella, so he knows the Rangers.

He knows the organization. He knows the Dolan family. So this makes a lot of sense to me.

And I was hoping that it was going to be somebody like this. The last time we were together,

I think I mentioned Joel Quinville. They did not want to go down that road. But then at that point in time,

Mike Sullivan was not available.

Exactly.

So I think this is the right message to send not only to the fan base, but also the players.
