Some conversations are worth having, but not all the time.

And maybe Ukraine is one of those conversations.

It's something I don't want to abandon.

It's something I want to keep understanding.

It's something about which there are so many experts that it would be foolish

to think that any single guest has been able to give us the entirety of the information.

So I want to keep talking to Ukraine experts.

But I also don't want to overwhelm you with exclusively Ukraine content.

Because curious as I am in that story, it shouldn't suck all the oxygen out of the room.

It shouldn't be the only thing we focus on.

And frankly,

if I have Ukraine fatigue, then I imagine that you probably do too. So rather than continue pursuing

different perspectives on exactly what Putin is doing and what Russia's game plan is and the extent

to which the West is responsible and what the West should do and what the likely outcomes might

be and what the humanitarian catastrophe for Ukraine will be and what they should do, et cetera, et cetera.

Instead of putting all of that into the conventional feed with the once a week main episode,
