This meditation is great for anyone, but particularly fantastic in your new to mindfulness. We typically have 60,000 thoughts a day, however, 99% of them are the same thoughts repeated over and over again.

This meditation is the first step in strengthening the mental muscle to take charge of monkey mind and help it go quiet.


This is a fantastic meditation to practice anytime of the day you have a 5 – 10 minute break. Each time you do it, you’re relaxing as you strengthen the mind


You’ll find it calming, often blissful, and may even experience a sense of warmth and growing energy inside of you. That’s the power of the 10-count.

The more you practice, the quieter your mind, the more zen or peaceful you’ll feel, and the more present and aware you’ll become.

Hi everyone. Today we're going to do what I call the 10 count meditation. It's called a 10 count because the goal is to get to 10 breaths or 10 counts before your mind begins to wander.

It's an incredibly simple yet powerful meditation and brain tool to start strengthening your mental muscles and help cut out the incessant

What I'll do is I'll count out the breaths for you.

Your job is to simply inhale and exhale thinking about absolutely nothing but

your breath. Chances are if your human thoughts will arise. That's perfectly all right.

Just treat them as unwanted subway cars coming into the station.

See the thoughts come in, see them leave, just don't hop on that train.
